Tea Menu

Black Tea camellia sinensis plant originating in China, but now is being produced in many other countries, such as India, Sri Lanka, and Java.
Green Tea young tender budding camellia sinesis leaves traditionally hand plucked and quickly processed without fermentation to produce a fresh tasting tea.
White Tea the fermenting process is abbreviated for white tea, after which they are immediately sun dried to lightly heated and air dried. The buds, first and second leaves covered with tiny white hairs are primary requirements for white tea.
Darjeeling from the foothills of the Himalayas and grown at about 7,000 feet, professional tea tasters descibe its flowery flavor as tasting of black currants or Muscat grapes and considered the champagne among teas.
Formosa Oolong desribed as tasting like chardonnay grapes with peach-like overtones, it is grown on small family farms in Taiwan.
Lapsang Souchon often compared to single malt scotch due to its woody aroma and taste. Its tasted is smoother than its sniff. This tea is fermented over pine needles.
Rooibos (roy-bose) Red "Tea" Not from Camellia sinensis plant and found in Africa, the liquid steeped from the red bush plant and honey bush plants contain no caffeine, hardly any tannin and is rich in vitamins and minerals.
Tisane/Herbal Tea these are made from caffeine-free herbs, flowers and berries.
